Been a while since I´ve updated anything here. Decided to do a little update for a change. SO! Top 10 crack pairings; i think i have quite the list, so let´s get on with them already:
10. Samus Aran (Metroid) X Little Mac (Punch Out!): If there is something that will never change is my love for crossovers. And thanks to the reveal trailer for the latter in the latest Super Smash Bros. game, people have been pairing those two left and right. And I agree, they look adorable (and all the measurement jokes are real fun). Probably the most common in the list; from now on it´s really crack...
9. Maria Fleed and sayaka Yumi (Mazinger Angels): If you have seen both Mazinger Z and Grendizer, you know those two happen to be both love interests for the great Koji Kabuto in each one. But they are just so cute that I decided to have them together as revenge to the Mazinger pilot. This image in particular is canon! (in a spin-off manga, but still).
8. Sheik x Zelda (Legend of Zelda): Because what could be hotter than an elf girl making out with her magical alternate personality other-self? Few things, and thanks to the Smash series, I can do it. Sheik is and has ALWAYS been a FEMALE and if you think otherwise you are dumb. Next!
7. Red x Daisy Oak (Pokemon): In the Electric Tales of Pikachu spin-off manga, Ash starts his pokemon journey to impress his precocious crush, older sister of his friend and rival, Gary. I always found this an interesting origin (especially compared to the always chaste anime Ash), and have since liked to pair up Red with her since then. Even if there are more interesting or popular choices like Misty, Leaf and Serena; Daisy is the ultimte pairing for Red and any of his incarnations to me now.
6. Kallen (Code Geass) x Chirico (Armored Trooper VOLTOMS): Super Robot Wars Z2 introduced us to this unexpected, crack pairing, and surprisingly enough, it works. They support each other and have developed as characters together tanks to being closer to each other. Not to mention that it leaves Leoluch free for C.C. butthathasnothingtodopleasebelieveme.
5. Lacus x Cagalli (Gundam SEED): This one is a fun story. I hate the canon pairings in Gundam SEED, and while looking for who to pair those two together with, i just joked that i would pair them up together and just be done with it. but the more i though about it, the more i liked the pairing (both are opposites, yet the two are understanding and kind...) it would be cute to see Lacus read all of Cagalli´s emotions and her getting all red too. Do I smell a fanfic or what?
4. Asuka Tenjouin x Seika Kohinata (YuGiOh GX): The GX manga is awesome. And those two had a very interesting and heated (though short-lived) rivalry on it. And i hate the abundance of yaoi undertones and jokes in the fandom so i naturally run for any sign of yuri on it. This is the result.
3. Link (Zelda) x Wii Fit Trainer: Yes! I dont know why i love those two, but with Zelda screwing her ninja-self, i can have a lot of fun with this too. Ever since her reveal I have liked this pairing for some reason and i dont know why and i dont care: its just too hot to ignore.
2. Judai Yuki x Midori Hibiki (YuGiOh GX): Another GX pairing from the manga. I just cant help myself but to love those two together, despite the age difference. The fact that she is is only person that Judai has from before entering the academy and the only one who understands his pain and love for Duel Monsters just moves me to tears. This could be a threesome with Koyo, but he spends in a come the entire manga so it doesnt count.
1. Clint Barton x Kate Bishop (Avengers): Hawkguy and Hawkgirl. Hawkeye and Hawkeye. The chemistry these two have on Hawkeye´s recent book with Matt Fraction at the helm of this comic run was amazing. Those two understand each other better than anyone, and despite the fact both have a huge age difference and each has their own love interests; they all pale in comparison to the relationship between those two.
